MANNING, N.D. — The Dunn County Commission held a regular meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 21, where it met new county road department employees, addressed time clock concerns and listened to a proposal from Global Medical Response. Road Superintendent Mike Karey introduced the four newest employees of the road department. The new workers consist of maintenance worker Casey Brew, truck driver Laine Isaak, truck driver Ryan Zadow and maintenance worker Kelly Arndt. Brew worked for Trotter Construction prior to starting his new position and said he wanted to work for the county so he can spend more time with his family. Bowman-native Zadow is a military veteran who served for eight years. Like Brew, Isaak also pursued a job with the road department because the four-day week schedule would let him be around his family and ranch. Arndt, who used to work in the oil field, also said he came for the schedule. I ve been with the county for three months now, he said. Oil field life
