Titusville teen’s lawyers weigh plea deal in cruise ship murder case

Lawyers for a Titusville teenager accused of killing his stepsister on a Carnival cruise ship say they are considering a plea deal, according to a new court filing obtained by Channel 9. Attorneys for Timothy Hudson told the court there is “one pending issue” that must be addressed before they decide whether to move forward with a plea. The filing does not specify what that issue is. Hudson is accused of raping and killing Anna Kepner during a Carnival cruise last year. In the same filing, defense attorneys asked a judge to delay the trial until January. The judge granted the request. Click here to download our free news, weather and smart TV apps. And click here to stream Channel 9 Eyewitness News live.
